The Friends of Contemporary Craft organization is sponsoring a tour of the studios of mixed-media printmaker Delita Martin, furniture-maker Shep Miers, ceramicists David Smith and Paula Smith and fused glass artist Donnell Williams from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 7. You'll get to see them in their element and hear what they have to say about their art.

The event is free, but donations to the FOCC for its lecture series are welcome and FOCC memberships will be sold. Thanks to people like painter and turned wood artist Robyn Horn, who has a fabulous collection of contemporary craft and has promoted the study and appreciation of such craft here, the art form has a high profile in Little Rock.

After the tour, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., FOCC will host a reception for the artists at the Arkansas Arts Center's Museum School Studio 1 and courtyard. For more information, call 396-0324.
