The world is full of folks who post on Twitter, Facebook or write blogs, but in all too many cases that is like shouting into a closet. You are reaching out to the folks in your particular tree house, but oftentimes, that’s about it. But an opinion poll? Ah, now you’re cooking with gas . . .

It was with some frustration that I noted that the Gallup Poll had called three times when I was out last week. In frustration, I even went so far as to return their call, hoping that I could somehow whine my way into their good graces, and they’d take pity on me and ask me some questions – sad to0 say, I reached an automated answering system.

Oh, the humanity . . .

So it was it was with great joy that I grabbed the phone the next time their name popped up on Caller ID.

Oh, the questions weren’t all that exciting, but I was in there, baby, answering my heart out, taking part in the political process.

They asked if they could call again, and I almost fell over myself in my eagerness to say yes.

Hell, call now – I have lots of opinions about lots of things.

Today’s Soundtrack

Today’s blog was written with the able assistance of Al Papa Rap” Lopez’s CD “What’s Up! Que Pasa” – featuring songs from  his  TV series – though it is sort of hard to type while dancing in your chair.

It has a great song which contains good advice for those who enjoy posting nasty posts of Facebook – “Think Before You Stink.”
