Re: “Sister who opposed Faubus dies

"Such collective action is precisely the opposite of self-help"

John A

Go over to Moore, OK this morning and tell all those Okies that not waiting for gov't to come search the rubble is the opposite of self-help.

(Quit your whining neighbor! The code enforcement people will be here in a couple weeks and lift that rafter off your head!)

Dig your own a$$ out from under your former home you panty-waist!

Self-help was running over to your neighbor's and looking for survivors.

John A

I submit that acting together IS self-help instead of just sitting around tsk tsking and whining no one is fixing the problem.

Self-help is deciding to tax yourself and pay to educate the next generation. Self-help in that you would be producing the future tax payers that will pay someone to wipe you drool and your butt in your sunset years.

Self-help is deciding to tax yourself to build roads, bridges, water systems, broadband access so America can remain competetive in the world! (plus the next currently unknown competitive requirement)

Rural electrification was a cost shouldered by all back early last century that even allowed 99% of current Arkansas to be settled.

China is paying the price now for not electrifying 100 years back. The Rural Unwashed now streaming to the cities since subsistance farming no longer supports basic subsistance.

THAT is self-help.

Re: “Vote fraud: Myth-busting in Ohio

That 10 legitimate votes get executed to make sure not 1 fraudulent gets free, that is the price we pay for freedom!

Re: “Supreme Court says 1979 Cornish hen theft makes sheriff ineligible to serve

Legislation would have made allowances for ... education..

Not much education gets you off for not knowing better, or do we let off a college educated person for the same offense some lowly GED would be ineligible.

Re: “Democrats go after Cotton for trying to criminalize family relationship

People without anything to hide don't mind unreasonable search.

People that are only chanting the gov't line don't need freedom of speech.

People that belong to the correct religion don't need freedom of religion.

Just chunk the whole bunch of pesky Bill of Rights.

Re: “Little Rock: Very religious, also fond of pornography

18 Views Each at 1 particular site.

Is it the most popular site? Or even popular at all?

If that is just one of many LR could be at the level of 365 per person easily.

What about Benton/Bryant commuters at work in LR surfing www.SpankUMonkey.org or www.PaddleMe.gov?

How would those be counted?

Point #2

Why is the LR picture a parking deck at sunset?
