Re: “Morning report: ExxonMobil caught; city directors get big pay raise; the return of Ken Starr

If they appoint Ken Starr to investigate the IRS they should also let Charles Manson and Sirhan Sirhan out of prison....let's see how these 3 do given a 2nd chance.....and isn't a 2nd chance part of the American Way?

If I ever met Ken Starr I'd have to thank him for opening my eyes so I was able to see my Republican Party clearly for the first time in my life. Ken Starr made a Democrat out of me and I'll be thankful for the rest of my days.

Re: “Walmart hires Dan Bartlett, former George W. Bush spokesman, as executive VP

War criminals who are never prosecuted always find other work cause if you're smart enough to not go to prison while a member of a vast crime family, you're smart enough to do good things for Wal-Mart. When will Dan Bartlett be speaking at the Clinton School?

Re: “Will Tom Cotton help Oklahoma or hold it hostage to ideology?

mag and I were talking about this last night and it makes me nuts. We have a whole pack of Republicans who do bad things and are never punished for it. Boozman has voted repeatedly to take money-benefits away from sick kids, he voted against a plan to help our worn out veterans when they come home. He votes for anything that will help his Republican buddies make another million yet sticks it to regular people who find their tit in the wringer.

These idiots in Oklahoma are worse. mag asked last night..where were the storm shelters at these schools? Fort Baptist has a big new storm shelter sitting next to ever school in town....every school. I told her Colburn & Inhofe would scream SOCIALIST SOCIALIST SOCIALIST if anyone wanted to build storm shelters next to Oklahoma schools so that's why there were no storm shelters next to the 2 schools in Moore and now a lot of tiny graves are being dug in the rain.

My first reaction was don't send any aid to Oklahoma.....let Colburn & Inhofe pay and then I shut up because Colburn & Inhofe only take, they never give and why would I want the suffering in Moore to get nothing just because they were stupid enough to elect a bunch of hard hearted politicians? So once again Colburn & Inhofe will stick by their guns or be total hypocrites and We The People will pay to help those devastated by the tornado.

There should be some punishment for being an asshole but in politics, there never is. In the situations HolyGuano typed about, if either he or his neighbor acted like a prick, I'm sure some kind of repercussions would have popped up by now. Selfish bastards should be treated as such and sure as hell never be reelected.

Why would anyone cast a vote for a selfish meanie? If suddenly OK's reps start begging for help....why would you reelect such hypocrites? Why would we reelect meanie Tom Cotton much less sent him to DC in Pryor's chair?

I was reading last night 2 letters Sam Houston sent his 7 year old son back in the 1840s. Over and over he told the little boy the importance of being nice and kind to everyone no matter the occasion. That no one respected mean people. Lordy would old Sam be pissed if he was alive today!

We've tried mean for a decade...it's time to throw out the meanies and hypocrites and elect compassionate people again. It's time to punish bad Americans like Colburn, Inhofe and Tom Cotton...let them go manage the dog pound.

Re: “Shoffner watch: She won't be in today

Thanks for info on her salary, Max. No wonder she had to search for under the table money. Either the job of State Auditor is a joke or it doesn't pay enough. Really...this is 2013 and I'm the only person I know who would be thrilled to make 53 thousand dollars per year.

And really x2, 80 per year for Governor is a joke too. How will we make it out of 48th when those at the top of our state government earn less than any competent welder? Like I said yesterday....I wouldn't steal, but if I had Shoffner's low paying job I'd be spending a lot of time on eBay selling junk in order to buy enough gas to get back and forth from Newport.
