  • Gravel Ridge church revokes Boy Scout charter

There'll be many more of these, no doubt. But hat tip to the First Baptist Church of Gravel Ridge for being first in the race to local news media to trumpet their forsaking of Boy Scout troop sponsorship because of the national organization's decision to allow gay members.

Re: “'Cheer Perfection' mom gets 10 years on plea in sexual assault of 13-year-old

I wonder what Tom Cotton thinks about his first cousin going away for 10 years.

Re: “Liquor stores power opposition to Faulkner County wet campaign

To educate some. Private clubs can not purchase from a distributor. They have to buy retail. Of course the battle lines have been drawn around Faulkner who has more private clubs than the majority of the state. The Bevans don't want to loose to the distributors and wholesale liquor prices.

Re: “Gravel Ridge church revokes Boy Scout charter

I don't get it... They revoke the Boy Scouts Charter for allowing homosexual to join when they make it a point to allow homosexual to join there church...? "Anyone is welcome here. We have homosexuals who attend here who are either struggling with it or have asked to be forgiven. But anyone is welcome, and that's what we told the troop members."
