Can't blame Drilling for wanting to jump that leaking ship. I'm not one to say I told you so by anything with Mary Good running it is going to be an out-and-out cluster. I did tell you so.
I can understand Hendrix' concerns. Adding a bike lane on SoMa is one of the most racist moves official Little Rock has proposed since the National Guard was called out to stop integration of Central High. It's an affront to all the hard work and what little progress has been made in overcoming racism in Arkansas, and takes Little Rock back to 1957. Sad, too, because we were almost out of the 60's in terms of racial progress in this city. I just hope we can avoid the race riots that almost always follow the designation of more bike lanes.
What's next? Another park? More park benches? The racists running this city are just out of control.
Tim Griffin is going to be zero help. Don't hold your breath waiting on him to do anything. The people of Mayflower are as screwed as everyone else in CD2 as long as Griffin is representing us. He's a better representative for the oil industry than for the people of Arkansas. He should be ashamed. He's not, but he should be.
One would hope he's a better physician than marksman
Inspiring.
Then quit trying to confuse them with the facts.
Re: “Remember Jon Hubbard? He hasn't mellowed”
I'm not going to comment on this. I can't bring myself to dignify Hubbard's comments with a response of my own. We have no choice but to share this world with a lot of stupid people. In their world Hubbard could be king. It's difficult to imagine the influences that set people like Hubbard, Rapert and others on such a wrong-headed track. But give them this: they may not often be right but they're apparently never in doubt. If ignorance is bliss, and we all know that it is, these two and others like them must be absolutely delirious.
