These guys delivered. I'd be curious to know which band just barely lost.
When Romney says, "send [disaster relief] back to the private sector, that's even better," is he referring to NGO's and/or non-profits like the Red Cross, or is he seriously turning disaster relief over to for profit enterprises like insurance companies and contractors?
SWEET! This one of my favorite and most memorable moments from the concert. I'm glad to have an official record of it.
When do tickets go on sale?
How did I not know that Hayes Carll was playing in Little Rock last night? I feel cheated.
This confirms ro me what I've always suspected : that the sounds coming off the stage at a Velvet Kente or Amasa Hines show only hint at the greatness that's playing in frontman Joshua's mind.
Re: “Little Rock Film Festival moves downtown, adds new $10,000 prize”
I'll be anxious to see how this goes. I loved the festival being mostly self-contained at Riverdale. It made it very easy to see four or five movies in a single day. As soon as one screening or Q&A was over, you could go right out to the lobby and get into line for another. Plus, many of the filmmakers in attendance said that it was the only festival where they could see the other films on the program. Spread all over downtown Little Rock and North Little Rock, it's going to be hard to catch the same number of films during the program.
