As vapid and ineffective as Pryor (Dino-AR) is, I'd rather have a (D) in that chair than an (R). It's just sad that we can't come up with an effective primary challenger to take Pryor out and leave Cotton where he belongs, which is NOT Washington.
(And Bloomberg has every right to do what he's doing...if Pryor weren't in trouble politically, this blog would have a much different opinion of Mayor B's actions.)
I'm still trying to figure out what the difference is between having a part-time figurehead mayor, and a full-time mayor. I was excited to get a full-time mayor, but can anybody tell me what he has done for the betterment of Little Rock? Anybody?
Mike Ross is a certain loss to Asa. One "Republican-with-a-D-by-his-name" can't out-Republican another, especially when there's Koch Brothers money & NRA money behind him. Where are the strong Democrats?
Dustin...all is forgiven—please re-consider! Vic...isn't it time to serve the state again? Joyce...we could build up a real head of steam behind you. We have to muster everything we have to reverse what happened with all the running idiots in the legislature this year. An Asa governorship would be a trip back to third-world status for Arkansas.
Senator Pryor is doing a great job of triangulating against himself. He's worried that Club for Growth is going to outspend him & put Cotton in his seat, so he goes against the polled & stated wishes of the people of his state. He holds a Democratic seat, but joins the ranks of "The Fellowship."
Every direction he turns, he faces himself as his own worst enemy. This man can't be having pleasant dreams at night.
Speaking of shills, has anybody questioned the Faulkner County Sheriff's department about threatening the arrest of journalists? Questions like "on what grounds" and "who is giving you orders?" Their protection of Exxon at the same time they're taking public money smells about as bad as the paper-towel-covered wetlands.
Screw the outerwear! Has anyone thought to ask the Faulkner County Sheriff who he's taking his orders from? Has anyone thought to ask on what grounds they'd be arrested if they were to stay. Can ANYONE in this state commit an act of Journalism???
Re: “Now the conservative Super PACs go after Mark Pryor”
Does anybody have Mike Beebe's ear? Wouldn't he just adore 6 years in DC? Senate chamber's a nice room.
