He was a dear friend and mentor and I will miss him. Thanks for posting this Max.
Jason is awesome! He is still fighting fires, but is still creating masterpieces, and is always there to lend a helping hand to others. I love the way he 'thinks outside the box' and think this is a great idea! Go Jason!
I went to school there as well a little over 40 years ago. Arkadelphia was a great place to raise kids and Slingerland is right, you had very little worries. I would even compare it to Mayberry. When the industry moved out of town (Reynolds Metal Co.) a long, long ago, the town never recovered. It's still a good little town, just seems like the town that time forgot. A 'we don't like change' attitude has hampered it's growth greatly. My thoughts are with them.
Mac was an incredible guy and a very talented artist. I was stunned when I heard the news today. "The Real Deal?" You got that right. The art community has lost a legend. Prayers going out to Marie tonight...
Very cool!!
No idea what the post above means. He obviously didn't attend the show. Now back to the correct subject. The art show was very nice and there was a good crowd. It was a somber, but reflective moment and I am pleased that the show was a success. Great art also. Glad I went.
Re: “Mellow Mushroom shooting for mid-June open in WLR”
God, please open one in NLR. There are no decent pizza places here and I would spend a TON of money if there were.
