Martha may be guilty as sin, but the FBI was low-down dirty for arresting her on a Saturday and keeping her in the jail until Monday before a bond hearing.
Unless it's a rapist, murderer or someone who has been fleeing arrest, it ought to be a law that the FBI and cops rarely arrest someone on the weekend. The FBI and the cops most of the time know where their suspects live. If nothing else, the arrest of people Martha's age just turns the public against the FBI and cops.

All good Arkies whose kin are having to pay higher college tuition and do without scholarships should put the blame where it belongs: The Tea Party and GOP giving away the store with obscene tax cuts for the Waltons and their coharts while shafting the lower middle class. The first GOP governors candidate that realizes corporations should all be paying more taxes and surcharges for excessive corporate leadership salaries --- 2 or 3 times above the Arkie average -- will get the vote of the masses. You can be moral and conservative on some things but you got to be balanced in your tax policy.
This jivy-turkey has to agree with Hendrix. Bikes don't belong on Main Street when you have a couple good roads that run in the same direction on either side of Main. ... Scott for one.. that are definitely not as busy.
I use to live over there and there were enough headaches for drivers with out bikers.
Who said Davy is a moderate?
He pushed through a rip off Capital Gains tax cut and just give peanuts to everyone else with a change in the standard deduction. Plus he went along with Gov. Beebe's measly 2 percent COLA after 3 or 4 years with no raises. (And, SSA changed rates by 2 percent on Jan. 1).
Plus he, again, failed to push a change in the state pay system to fully implement a new system that saw new workers get $5,000 raises but everyone else got peanuts... 10-15 cent raises per hour.
In short, he's not the moderate Brummett and Max were hoping for.
Jacksonville --- and by extension Sherwood and Maumelle -- won't EVER get their own districts or a combined north of the river district or Sherwood-Jacksonville district UNTIL all the BLACK MINISTERS, Deacons, Principals, teachers, doctors, etc petition the court to remove John Walker as their attorney -- or Until they work out a deal with Walker and the local Chamber/civic establishment to divide up the districts' school board zones to ensure minorities have equal representation in town with north Pulaski area being a wild-card district, not attached to either group.
