I attended an industry meeting at Crowne Plaza and was pleasantly surprised by the buffet offerings - what a delicious soup! A pretty good selection of salads, the fried catfish was some of the best I've had, and the potatoes and fried okra were obviously made in-house. The bread pudding was fabulous - I thnk there were some raspberry donuts mixed in - and the fresh fruit selection was top-notch. After the meeting we stayed for a cocktail at Rocks, the bar adjacent to the restaurant. Great martinis and a surprisingly good guitar duo performing during happy hour made a day of meetings seem like a mini-vacation.
