Davy Carter voted against church carry two years ago. For some reason, no one primaried him. That was a missed opportunity for conservatives.
Davy Carter is an anti-gun, pro-choice Republican. I know this, because I've heard him talk when he thought everyone in the room agreed with him. The few votes he's cast in favor of pro-life and pro-gun bills were for political reasons. Go back and examine all the social votes. He knew he had to vote to override the governor's veto on the abortion bills because of the attention they were getting. But go back and look at the smaller votes. He consistently avoids voting or votes no.
Do you really want to defend all of this? Corruption transcends politics, ideology, and party labels. Let's just all, for once, support good government.
Kudos to principled liberals who oppose the police state even when the president is a Democrat.
And I too ♥ booze, but never drink and drive.
I agree Durango, though I don't think that a 180-pound man requires that many drinks to be .05. As I said before, I personally drank just two beers and blew .05. I weigh more than 180 pounds, typical fat ass SUV driving Republican that I am.
I love that you're already admitting that it'll probably drop.
The answer to this problem is more public transportation, not more police intrusion. Remember one thing about that powerful police force that some of you want: a right-wing politician can use them to suppress the black vote, arrest dissenters, and generally suppress any part of the population it doesn't like. A government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take away everything you have.
I'm a turd in the punch bowel. Get it?
