I am glad that Max is on vacation. He needs it! And Benji, you are next. Great reporting! And a lot of work has been done. Great job folks!
Oh dear. Thanks Max for being ever diligent. I am distressed by the decision of last week. It appears that I have reason to feel that way. I am hopeful for a positive outcome, but am not optimistic that it will be in the best interests of the students. I'm also not liking the concept that a board that was voted in could be disbanded and dismissed.
Man, I can't believe that someone would get on Daniel's case. My heart hurts a little. Daniel, you're loved and appreciated :) Keep up the good work, grammatical errors and all. And LOL Michael!
I've never been a huge Whole Hog fan. Years ago some of my coworkers and I did a BBQ tour, took us almost 2 years to complete. Basically we tried every BBQ restaurant within about a 15 mile radius of Little Rock. I think it did make it in the top 3 for overall satisfaction (one person usually got pulled pork, another ribs, another was a wild card, and if chicken was offered one did that). We tried to find the best well-rounded joint. I think J & J's (which then may have been T & T's? or vice versa) made the top pick. However, when I do go to Whole Hog I get the Half Smoked Chicken and am usually pleased and it's a good price for what you get. I don't touch much else other than that. Oh, and the potato salad is always good.
How is this going to affect Istanbul, just 4 doors down? I'm really not all that worried as I've found their offerings to be overpriced and - eh, but it seems fairly concentrated greek/mediterranean offerings for that shopping center. I'm not complaining, just wondering.
And while I feel sad for the family that opened Cheeburger Cheeburger to see it fail, I'm glad it is gone. Outside of their shakes (especially when I was pregnant), the food abhorred me and the service was deplorable. And I was a fan of one of the outlets back in Auburn, AL when in college, this was one was no where near that good.
WTF is going on in LR and robbings? Last week it was Red Lobster, now the mall - with a fatality?
Oh, let me add, I am a 40 yo woman, that already has one child that has congenital birth defects. If I were to pursue another, it would be too late to abort based on the laws that are now being passed. I'm not saying it would be an easy choice, but it is immoral to put anyone in the decision I'd be faced with if I were pregnant again. F* it, I'll just never have intimate relations again. Thank you Arkansas!
