Another example of the ineptitude of the ArkTimes.
This blog has officially jumped the shark.
Damn you are really bored, aren't you? Why not drum up some more gun nut nonsense?
I am a proud conceal permit holder! I have not harassed ANYONE! I am not a gun owner who would pull out my weapon and try to be Dirty Harry, much like the doctor tried to do in WLR a few months ago when people robbed a bank.
Stupid is everywhere, but don't rope all of us permit holders into one category PLEASE! The majority of gun permit holders are responsible, and we know about gun safety and how to use our weapons properly.
Do you not understand that?
gun nut, gun nut. Lindsey, it's nice to see that you parrot whatever grandfather Brantley says. Concealed carry holders ARE NOT GUN NUTS!
I am sick of this blog throwing around that term!

You are a damn idiot. You think less of someone because they conceal carry? Sounds like you are not a worthy friend at all.
Also, guns do save lives. I can name two people I know today are alive because they shot intruders who had first fired off rounds at them. Had they not had a gun to defend themselves, they would be dead.
Re: “Imboden superintendent: Disputes accounts on gay graduation speaker, says no outside speakers in future”
Yeah, picket and ruin an important day for these students. Was this speaker going to focus on being gay, or was he going to just give a speech about being successful and tell kids what to do to be successful?
If he was going to use this graduation ceremony to go on and on about the struggles of being gay, then I would agree, it's not appropriate for him to speak.
This is most likely the concern that some school board members had.
This isn't the place for a speech on gay struggles.
Also, why are people who follow their Christian beliefs suddenly demonized in our society?
Now we are supposed to go to church and ignore people who are committing sins just because it's politically correct?
Yes, being gay is a sin. But you condemn the sin, not the sinner. I embrace and love gay people, but I will not sit in my church or anywhere else and pretend that their lifestyle is not sinful.
I am not the one who looks down at gays and tells them they are going to hell. And I cannot stand people who do. However, I do not appreciate people calling me a bigot or hateful person just because I stand by my belief that being gay is a sin.
Sadly, the spotlight is now on this and not the kids' graduation ceremony.
