Re: “CNN projects Tom Cotton and Asa Huchinson victories; early vote in Pulaski also

Have you heard that the Pulaski Academy voting station closed early and left people pulling up to cast their ballot at 7:15pm and could not because it was locked up tight. This even though it shows that it was supposed to be open until 7:30pm?

Re: “The Top 10 Pizzas in Little Rock

You missed my favorite pizza and pizza place. Grady's on 12th st. Get the All American Pie. How a pizza joint should be. Friendly staff and great pizza.

Re: “Cafe Prego still delivers

Haven't been there in over 5 years. The lady who owned it was so rude that I vowed my family would next set foot in that place again. Also, i have to agree with sward...the food is just as bad as he says it is. I would take Fazolis over cafe prego in a heartbeat. As I have read through the comments, I'm seeing that it is under new ownership. Hopefully they will bring a new vibe to the place. It needs to get a good cleanse from the old lady that used to own it.

Re: “Lackluster Mexican fare at La Casa Real

I completely disagree with your review. We have been to this restaurant a handful of times since its opening and have found several items we love. If you like La Hacienda, this is so close to the same dishes that you really cannot tell the difference. The punch is the same. The complementary salsas are the same (for added effect, orders small cheesedip and then pour in the spicy green salsa and mix...very tasty!). The refried beans are made the same as La Hacienda. I haven't compared the menus of these restaurants but I bet they have the same meals on each and Casa Real probably has a few more additions. My personal favorite is the shrimp and chorizo plate served with corn tortillas. The corn tortillas are made in house and by the grandfather of the family. I found this out by talking to one of the wait staff. Speaking of the waitstaff, they are some of the most courteous and prompt of any restaurant in this town. I wish other establishments would follow their cue.
Granted, that picture posted above doesn't look appealing at all. However, I have seen dishes that looked similar to that served in other very popular Mexican places (senior tequila). I'm not even going to mention some of the food served at some of the Indian restaurants around here....might look disgusting but taste phenomenal.
So, I would say to give them another chance before slamming them. Try a different dish that may be more to your liking.

Re: “The Thursday night line

Is there a website where we can see what each issue means and what each candidates positions are on the relevant issues? The only one I have seen is something from family council...ughh.

Re: “A small rant: Hunka Pie

They don't return phone calls. Do yourself a favor and order your pies from Pie in the Sky. Much better pies in my opinion anyway.

Re: “Go hog wild at Hillcrest Artisan Meats

A true gem for Little Rock. Ran by really nice people. Highly recommend.
