i like the graph and it opened my eyes...
so can you do the same type graph displaying how some LRPD officers can make in excess of 120,000 dollars in overtime pay...?
huckawho huckaflow hucka boo boo doo. who cares?

wonder if al sharpton will have a convention here in little rock in the wake of this
Re: “Police identify youth shot by police Sunday morning”
the honda civic had been reported stolen on Wednesday, Aug. 8... for roughly 5 days and nights these juveniles drove around LR without the police even noticing?
now for the rant...
i often sit at community bakery on main st, and see our police break traffic laws themselves (speeding, no use of turn signals, running stop lights and stop signs). when the last storm came through the traffic lights went out on main st. from Roosevelt to I-630 (BTW, is four sets of traffic lights). Not one cop out of 10 or so cop cars (that i had seen) stopped to direct traffic. which would have been nice because it was 5:00 traffic.
we were duped into giving the police more money for more police presence. it seems the more police presence meant bigger police vehicles (all the new SUV's) for them. i never see cops outside of their cars doing foot patrols in neighborhoods. they are all either talking on their cellphones or texting while driving through. simply put "not paying attention".
we need crime preventive police not crime responding police... but alas their is no money to made when crime is down.
i happened to go to Kroger on Rodney Parham early Sunday morning (4:30) after watching the meteor shower. and came across two police officers were arresting a very old man for stealing a Dr. Pepper. now, stealing is wrong we all know that... but sending someone to the overcrowded jail for stealing a Dr. Pepper, cost us taxpayers 1000's of dollars.
i wonder if the owners of the civic want their car back now?
