Happy to see Blair getting much deserved praise and attention. We try to time our cheese buying at Boulevard on Tuesdays when there is a slight discount to the prices. It allows us try something a little "fancier" than we normally would spring for.
Can someone please give a lesson on how to pronounce "linguica"? I'm thinking how I"m saying it in my head is wrong.
The sausages that Farm Girl was frying up yesterday at Bernice smelled great. Will have to add that to my shopping list.
It think its fine that there was some sort of criticism towards the food (since this is why we are here- to read about food), however I also think its important that details are correct- like names. Plus, if you mentioned that there was a charity benefiting from the event it would make it easier to understand why tickets were so expensive.
@joel- Comparing it to local pizza options (Zaza, US Pizza and Vinos- very different crusts), I liken it to Vinos. Hand tossed and very tasty. Interesting toppings, great beer options and great salad and sandwiches. I'd choose MM over Damgoode and US any day.
I'm really looking forward to this. I know each restaurant operates differently, but ones that I visited when living in other states had some great Happy Hour deals. Welcome to Little Rock guys!
I figure you guys didn't pay since it was the soft opening night. But do you have any idea on how the pricing runs? I'm assuming that salsa is complimentary but one would normally have to pay for guacamole and queso, right? And the entrees- how are those priced? Last question...do they have an a la carte menu? I usually find myself ordering a taco or two since I ruin my appetite with chips and salsa when we first sit down.
If you haven't had them, I have been very impressed with fajitas at Cantina Laredo (beef and chicken).
Re: “Now at Dollar Tree: The Mayo of Mayonnaiseness”
I purchase Duke's at Kroger. Its the only mayo in our fridge.
