The Sales Tax in Little Rock went up an entire percent beginning January 2012. That is definitely going to make a difference in the overall state revenue (LR is the largest city in the state).

Yes, most couples (definitely not all rich . . . not all infertile couples are rich . . infertility affects all classes) prefer to raise an infant from birth . . . ya know, those that are being aborted. I hate the mentality of women who are like. . "If I can't have this child, NO ONE CAN." It's just selfish.
I'm all for family planning (birth control, vasectomies, etc. . .) and health care for women . . but where is the health care for these innocent babies. The truth is, they make A LOT of their money off of tearing babies from the womb. They couldn't stay open on just their "other services."
And yes, I know ALL ABOUT "The Call." I have been involved with them for years now . . my name is on their donor list, I'm sure yours is not. Why does everyone think pro-life people are hypocrites? We don't take this stand for the fun of it . . . we honestly are trying to protect the unborn (kind of like you like to protect "the trees.").
All I can say is that one day, you will know the truth.

Not ALL conservatives are the same (and I know not ALL liberals are pro-choice) . . I can only speak for myself. I have adopted a child and there are SCORES of other people that are waiting in line to adopt children. It always comes down to the fact of whether or not you believe life begins at conception. I do, therefore, think abortion is murder just like killing a 35 year old man is murder. They are the same to me. God is the creator of life . . . each life is precious and has a higher purpose. Oh, and BTW, I DON'T believe in the death penalty either. I give lots of money to charities helping children here and around the world. We all must reach out and take care of those that can't take care of themselves. We are too selfish as a society (me included).
BTW, if you can't afford a vasectomy, wear a condom or don't have sex . . . no one has DIED by not having sex (contrary to popular belief). Not to mention, having an abortion has got to be pretty expensive too. Probably not that much of a difference in price. AND, the clinic could still perform these procedures . . just stop taking innocent life. I don't believe ANYONE on here has a heart to kill children . . . there is no reason we can't all work together to help eliminate abortion . . . which is even what liberals claim to want.

It's a controversy for a reason. If there was nothing going on in the clinic to be ashamed of, Welsco wouldn't have backed out (hopefully they are doing it due to a change of heart, but I doubt it). Still praying that little by little, this clinic will shut down. There are other places to get vasectomies, etc. . . And places that don't require a security guard outside the door . . nice "doctor's" office.

I'm excited, as a conservative, to see that the Times is NOT in favor of this tax increase. I voted NO today, however, word is - it will pass. I hope I'm surprised!

I LOVE Capers. I always get the Arkansas Best Salad with Grilled Chicken. I also love their shrimp bisque soup. And for dessert . . try the White Chocolate Bread Pudding.
