I admire Pusey Riot for their artistry and opposition to Putin and I believe I have read everything the ADG has published about their prosecution. Not once, to my knowledge, have they printed the band's name. To me, that is like writing about the Walton family as "the wealthy Arkansas retailers," or "the big discount store family," without ever identifying the subject of the story.
Jay and Chuck's contributions to Arkansas's social, political and cultural life are too many to count. (Not to mention that they're two of the most affable guys around.) I hope that one of these days our state's social, political and cultural leaders will find it in themselves to grant folks like these two gentle men the same rights granted other citizens, most of whom have done far less for Arkansas. Chuck and Jay, sorry you had to leave home to marry, but so very glad you did!
Trials are public. Wouldn't it be great if everybody had the same chance as the WM3. Why don't we ask judicial candidates what they think of that idea.
What? Sunshine in the Natural State? Bring it on!!!
It's like running an article about the historic "Kissing War Goodbye" photo from Times Square at the end of WWII--and not running the photo.
Re: “Republican 'Civil War' rages nationally, but not in Arkansas”
Leave it to you, Max, to nail the moment: this "search for a putative Republican soul..." What would we do without you?
