Finally bowed to pressure and went to The Pantry with my folks while they were in town last weekend. All the food was fantastic, but the standout was the creme brulee cheesecake. I've never had cheesecake that was so light, fluffy and delicious but not overly sweet. The owner Tomas even came over to introduce himself. I will definitely be going back there in the near future.
Notimeleft - I go to Santo Coyote for the $10 jumbo margaritas that get you a damn good buzz for your buck.
But but... I thought Popeye's was the best fried chicken in Arkansas!
I should have clarified, no quality firearm will just "go off." Yossarian - I wasn't trying to disprove accidental shootings. I'm just contending that most of these "accidental" shootings are not due to any inherently unsafe weapon, but rather negligent handling or storage that leads to the firearm operating correctly whether someone intended it to or not.
99.99999...% of the time, a gun just sitting by it's lonesome will not just "go off."
Guns don't just accidentally go off, especially any modern firearm. This person was either unsafely transporting or handling the firearm and it discharged due to his negligence.
Hibernia Irish Tavern has a great traditional Irish Breakfast that is an absolute hangover-slayer. Plus, of course, a full bar. It's not the cheapest, but the food is good.
Re: “Doh! Homer's goes down swinging”
I went to Homer's West once and found it exactly as you described. The chicken fried steak seemed to be frozen food-service fare, and the mashed potatoes were somehow worse than Betty Crocker dried potato flakes. I will not be dining there again.
