Are you gonna go after all non profits that are following the law, or is this just your continued beef with Tracy Steele because he voted on something a different way than you would have? Geez man there are so many other things so much more wrong in this town that affects EVERYONE to discuss, or are you on the payroll?

I must agree. I once held Max B in very high regards as a journalist. But this has cause me to rethink that. With all the VERY unethical things that have been going on in NLR city government the past ten years or so, and we have to sit through this nit pickin garbage? I think if we could probably do a little research and find lots of non profits doing exactly the same thing. The Stand has been around for what almost 9 years and just now your raising questions? I have to question your motives Mr Brantley. Its sad to see your reporting and the Arkansas Time stoop to this low level.

And what about the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum? Its a Non Profit PHH is the president and the Board consists of City Employees. Gets BIG money from the City Budget every year. Doesnt THAT smell funny to anyone?

How about a local non-profit, which gets 150,000 K a year from the city, hosting a fund raiser for Smith where the local elite gathered at night and served alcohol and finger sandwiches, while the prayer breakfast served hope and orange juice. Bear in mind that the person who runs the non-profit, gets a lot of bucks from the city and he is Smith's campaign adviser. In the crowd of Smith supporters are long time people who benefit from contracts with the city which Smith continues to be involved with while continuing to reap dollars. Smelly. Then there's the NLR Airport. But, that's for another time.

Next thing we know they'll be building condos in Burns Park. And that's pure BS Rizzardi and you know it. Why cant you stop with the hate and stupid arse rumors. We all know if JS gets elected its going to be the same ole song and dance and your right there in their pockets with all the other elitist buddies. And ain't nothing gonna change for the better for anyone but for all the connected folks that can pay the admins to do their bidding downtown and along the river. Screw everybody else. Cant wait till the crime moves into Lakewood, and Indian Hills, Its got no where else to go but north and east. Boy you all will be hollering then and maybe you'll wake up and see what the rest of us have been dealing with for 20+ years. Screw the police and fire they can't line your pockets, neither can the Mom and Pop businesses in Levy, or Rose City. But you will never know you'll be in a safe place im sure, with all the other pieces of crap from downtown. Uh Oh what was that??? Gunshots??? whew good thing I thought it might have been firecrackers, we're used to gunshots.
