@elwood - I drove down that stretch of New Hope last week and it appeared that some preliminary work was being done in preparation for "some" widening.
IMO light/commuter rail is a long way from becoming a reality in NWA. Maybe if we got the Walton boys to finance a large scale PR assault we could get people talking about making it a reality..
