Re: “Thursday: Josh Turner, Smittle Band, Amina Myers, Lunafest and more”
You forgot to mention Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors at Rev Room Thurs night!
If you're a fan of Showtime television's "United States of Tara" or A&E's "The Cleaner," you've likely already heard and loved Nashville-based Americana band Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors.
The Memphis native has toured with the likes of Susan Tedeschi, Ryan Adams and The Avett Brothers and appeared on CMT's Legends and Lyrics alongside Pat Green, among others.
The group's latest album "Chasing Someday" includes the hit song "Fire and Dynamite," whose video has gotten considerable airtime on CMT, though there's not much "country" about this tune except perhaps the purity of Holcomb's voice and straightforward simplicity of his lyrics. The song, a sort of country-rock midtempo ballad, rocks.
Show Thursday night starts at 8:30 and tix are just $10, ages 18 & up!
