I would absolutely drive to Hillcrest for something from the Pie Cycle. Such an inspiring story!
Sen Mark Pryor. Worst Arkansas senator to date. What were his credentials again?
That is the worst idea I have ever heard of. Let's add a tax so that we can fund someone to provide oversight and watch the scholarship winners finish college. If we hire enough people, we could stay in contact with the professors and maybe even put a minimum on how much time they have to spend studying each night.
Sounds amazing! I can't wait to try it! It has got to be better than the Buffalo Grill?
Downtown by the Clinton Center and Heifer makes the most sense to this casual outsider. Have the trolley run through it on the way to the airport as planned.
I know of some good sites in Argenta. Occupy LR could be come Occupy Pulaski. Come to think of it, the Section 13 park isn't a bad idea either. What about the fairgrounds?
Re: “City Director Erma Hendrix unhappy about bike lanes”
Erma Hendricks is a problem for the Board of Directors and the City of Little Rock as a whole. Not only does she need to be replaced, she needs to be replaced as soon as possible. First, bicycle lanes are clearly not a racial issue. Case closed. Second, if you are at all interested in expanding the Arkansas economy, you've got to attract educated professionals from outside the state. The aerospace industry is likely to be a viable means to create more jobs and income to Arkansas. How else are we to attract educated college graduates to our great state than to cater to their interests. Museums, parks, social events, and yes bike lanes are an investment in Little Rock's future. If you are pleased with the current economy in Little Rock, than by all means block these changes.
If you want to see Erma in action, watch the City Board of Directors meetings. You might be shocked at what a bump in the road (pain in the a$$) she is. Every Tuesday, without a doubt.
