Does Lt. Gov. Darr know that Federal law prohibits such direct to the candidate contributions? Wonder why it is that way? Maybe because of the undue influence that big money brings perhaps? The gall of some people in office is amazing!! I sure hope he leaves office one way or another soon. The sooner the better. Arkansas deserves better than this guy for elected office!!

Re: “Proposed changes weaken Lake Maumelle watershed rules”
I got a plan. How bout making a list of all the people who think that the proposed development of the watershed area is a good idea. Those people who see no harm that will come to the lake.Take that list of people and make them sign over a lean on everything they currently own and everything they purchase for the next 50 years. This said list of their stuff to be put in escrow, to pay for a new water supply if needed.
In other words, put YOUR money where YOUR mouth is and not OUR (the taxpayers against this) tax money where YOUR mouth is!! Why should we, the other taxpayers, pay for your short sided ideas? How many hundreds of millions of dollars would it cost for a new water supply if the lake is ruined?
BTW... this list should include Deltic Timber Co., since they are pushing the "land use"
