I just had the best little lunch yesterday at Rock N Tacos. They makes this salad bowl with shredded chicken, lettuce, wonderful beans, rice, guac, sour cream...and then I topped it off with some of that fresh mango salsa. Think it was less than $8. Might be new favorite lunch discovery. Nice people over there and the service is very fast if you're looking for a quick lunch option with quality food.
Torgo, Michael Roberts would like to be your new lunch buddy.
Michael and D-Walker, next time could you maybe include a sentence telling me to click on the blue link? That would help.
BTW...DiPippa is like a big bear whose been comment box hibernating for the winter. Dude has come out and is ready to eat.
Shocker... another reader critical of criticism. Get a life...instead of writing some boring fluff piece, these writers took the time to critic what some of our top chefs were cranking out. How dare they? Tickets were $100 a pop...darn right I want to know how the food tasted. Was thinking about going next year.
@D-Walker, for my 1 carryout experience...I'd say mediocre, at best.
@notimeleft, you can't go wrong with anything at HAM. Just walk through the door and your job is done.
I once again had the Stock Pot at the Pantry, which I feel is the best dish in LR. Just love everything about that restaurant.
Had my first experience with Damgoode Pies last night. I was very underwhelmed. The supreme pizza had fresh, plentiful toppings, but the crust was average and the price was high ($13.45) for a 10-inch pizza. The larger cheese pizza was not good. Granted, this was carryout, but don't see myself going back anytime soon.
Re: “Pissaladiere, the acceptable early morning pizza”
I thought Walker only got to write about Mylo.
