Re: “The private option is not dead but it's in real jeopardy

So, the state gives 200,000 poor people health insurance, then the state takes away health insurance from some who have never had it in their entire life? How in the world is that "Christian"? How in the world is that anywhere close to being a good person?

Re: “Martha Shoffner's plea deal falls apart

At 70, why would someone risk spending years in prison over a few thousand dollars? I just don't get it.

Re: “The illegal ID notation from Mark Martin: Election commission responds

Why are people against voter ID laws? Everyone has to have an ID or license anyway, right? So what is the big deal with verifying their address and citizenship? This seems like a no-brainer to me.

Re: “Tom Cotton would repeal the private option — and cut more out of Medicaid, ARKids on top of that

I've considered myself a conservative all my life, but I can't think of one R I am voting for in this election. The fundamentalists and extremists have completely taken over the GOP.

Re: “The roots of Little Rock's segregated neighborhoods

There is so much more bigotry in the north it is ridiculous. My hypothesis is that we already went through our hard times back in the 50/60's and were basically forced to address our problems. Those up north never have, and they are still very much silent racists.
