Also I got this from their FaceBook site:
"We have kicked off our candy bar fundraiser! The family that sales the most with receive 50% off one child's tuition for the summer."
There is other indications of fund raising at this school on their FB page, and, they are also charging tuition? One wonders how much tuition costs.
Sounds all pretty lucrative to me.

Teachers have become the primary "parent" in too many kids lives due to failure of the parent(s) to do their job.

Google Public Law 84-140. First thing in the morning, the kids are affected by this, leading to the problems that you mention.
