I suspect The Governor of Missouri and this ballot measure is where the LR protesters are heading... as reported on a catholic web page.

http://www.mocatholic.org/news/gov-nixon-p…

In one rural MO paper it's being sold as a right to pray in public meetings and such. I can't wait to see rural fundie americans reaction when a few muslims decide that's a good idea....)

Anyone else notice those LR protesters faced zero harassment from the police? Hard to imagine a crowd of people like that...and not one person stepping off a curb... thus getting a citation like peaceful occupados did.
The pall cast by right wing fringies lifted a bit in Arizona yesterday as well. The special election to replace Gabby Gifford went to Ron Barber, also wounded when she was shot, by a 52-46 margin. Rootin' tootin', gun totin' Jesse Kelly probably struck fear in the huge number of retirees in AZ over their SS and Medicare. The article has a round up of other elections around the country yesterday.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06/13/a…

ButWhoCares, perhaps Christians in ND are finally growing up as well.

"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."

And with a h/t to Driftglass this Hoffer quote:

"What monstrosities would walk the streets were some people's faces as unfinished as their minds."

And Grover Fucking Norquist is on CSPAN acting pissy with callers. Jebbie must have rattled his cage. Before we hail Jeb as some kind of hero, let's remember the 2000 election and Terry Schiavo.
