The roaring twenties were before my time, but they were followed by the depressing thirties--skirts went from short to long and shoes were drab. Women rose again during World War II--to work in factories and serve in the USO--and again short skirts and red lipstick. Europe sent us the "new look" with skirts near the floor around 1947, even leg-o-mutton sleeves, and women produced babies like never before (me included). But we drove cars, served PTA's, made cookies, and bowed to our husbands, the breadwinners. Then the babies grew, needed more things, and we added careers. The pill freed nonCatholic women, sex became safer, and we were told to enjoy it. Somehow our daughters decided they wanted to be stay-at-home moms, evangelists became powerful and even fathers went to church (it was a rare man who joined the congregation at my hometown Methodist house of worship unless his child was in the program). Now the father may still have his wine on Saturday night, but his preacher cools his passions before he votes on Tuesday, and look what we have. How did I get off topic like this? Sorry.

I watched the video last night of the Republicans on the floor in Michigan and they were steamrollering their offensive bills thru 90 to nothing and didn't appreciate these women...who actually had the balls to stand up and bitch instead of sitting on their hands. It wasn't their sex that got them muzzled, it was them daring to raise opposition to the Nazi-like bills the Republicans were pushing thru.

Of course, Michigan is DOA anyway. The only people left are those who can't afford to limp off over the state line. The birthplace of Mitt Romney and a clear indicator of the future of the other 49 states if Romney is elected more closely resembles a 3rd world country now. Whole cities taken over by one guy who can hire or fire or probably shut the city down and auction it off to Job Creators looking for a new landfill. And as all history shows the vagina-owning Americans are always the first to get the thick end of the club. Just wait, the men Democrats will get it next.

In case you didn't notice, civilization stopped on September 11, 2001 when the airplanes hit the buildings. How did Osama know America was crazy and only needed a little push to go off the deep end? And now the US is more resembling Osama's birthplace, Saudi Arabia, in our treatment of women. Next women in need of abortions will be stoned in the public square...but think of the boost that will mean for Republican hotdog vendors! Stoning Today! Get yer steaming phallic shaped hotdogs while they last!

Oh yeah....our future is gonna be great because our friends, neighbors & relatives are too stupid to know the difference between a good candidate and a bad candidate. Take me now, Allah, take me now!
