Rep. Todd Akin appears to be staying in the race, which is a great thing for us liberals. But I'm beginning to smell a rat, the sweet smell of a Democrat using the dirty tricks pioneered by the Republican Party.

Claire McCaskill is a Mark Pryor Democrat. That's allowed her to win election in conservative Missouri. However, when Claire McCaskill decides to be a Democrat she's got fangs a mile long. We know that she helped the Akin campaign in the primaries making sure he beat out the other wingnuts. Akin was Claire McCaskill's choice for a November opponent.

Now, without any apparent urging Akin has totally torpedoed his chances and has virtually guaranteed McCaskill's reelection. This will help strengthened the Democrat's hold on the Senate. If we reelect Obama but lose the Senate our troubles are here to stay.

So could it be...ala the fake moronic Democrat, Alvin Greene, that the Republicans ran in South Carolina, our usually milquetoast Democratic Party is using Republican dirty tricks to make sure we'll have a Democratically controlled Senate for another 4 years? I'll gladly hold my nose and cheer this idea.

All one has to do to be pro-idiot Akin is to look at the Republicans who have lined up against him today and are urging him to drop out of the race. Ashcroft, Roy Blunt, Karl Rove, Mitt Romney and on and on and on......if they're anti-Todd Akin, I must be pro-Todd Akin. His nest is going to be very well feathered if he's willing to take this hit. Sure, he'll never spend another day in politics after the election, but hey....your own island, yacht, Rolls, tender young playthings....and knowing you did a good thing for your country.............I'll take that deal! It's very opportune that Missouri was close enough for Akin & McCaskill to overhear Fay Boozman's stupid statement back in the 90s. Someone squirreled away that little gem to use again on a rainy day.

Today I hear the Democrats laughing in the rain.....ain't it wonderful!

"His way" means you must have insurance. If you can't afford it then insurance will be provided for you, if you live in one of the sane states like Mitt Romney's Massachusetts where Willard was the first to levy a tax for not having health insurance. According to natives. Massachusetts plan is working well.
