So, Torro Benn, You actually believe that the hit from the scrimmage game is what caused Deshawn to have Acute Renal Failure? Were you not aware that he was bruised severely from the waist down? Or did that occur at the scrimmage game as well? Lets be real here, he was hazed. Whether or not all guys are charged, the person who orchestrated the beating was in the wrong. Having the names of all the men present, could be hard for anyone to recall, knowing that it was set up by Deonte, and not Deshawn. I see where you asked if there were Alumni members present... did it not occur to you that if Deonte and the other men charged were there, why haven't they spoken up to say who were there with them? What are they protecting? Their fraternity? Their reputation? Because as I read in other articles, Deonte mentioned that he "loved" Deshawn... does that mean he doesn't anymore and that is why he refuses to SAY THE NAMES OF THE PARTICIPATING MEMBERS AS WELL AS THE ONES WHO ATTENDED THE "MEETING" HE PUT TOGETHER??? It just doesn't make any sense. And to continue mentioning the fact that he was hit severely at the scrimmage game just shows your knowledge about Deshawn Scoggins. He has many years of football experience.... saying, that I'm sure he has been hit several times and probably harder than at that scrimmage game. But I'm sure he had never taken such a familiar hit after a night of beatings. Maybe you should do your research on Renal Failure so you can be familiar with the signs and symptoms.... Because whether or not he was "well" enough to attempt or play in a scrimmage, that does not mean he wasn't suffering from kidney damage from the beatings previous of the scrimmage.

Who don't be on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram DeShawn has the right to post whatever. Being a Kappa that's something that he has earned and no one can take that from him. Which I wouldn't trust Y'ALL brotherhood ever again but that's my opinion. Because it seem like the pretty boy's gone bad. I am hoping with all your allegations that you be in court. I still say that your 1 of the 16 because you keep thinking you know all the facts. Why you want to hide behind the scene? Since you have all the facts come forth. I hope they subpoena all the coaches to get all the facts of what happen that day. So what he went to the Waffle House and football practice. That do not change the fact that y'all beat the boy. Since Deshawn can't remember everyone help the man out, oh I forgot its a brotherhood thing. (lol) Well turn your phone in so that police can run a check on your phone to let them know who was really in charge. JUST THAT SIMPLE
I am glad, too, that DeShawn is still with us, even after being hit hard in a football scrimmage on April 18th, the day after he was supposedly beaten up so badly on April 17th. Now that he is well and featuring himself on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, it is time that he thank the One who really saved his life by telling the truth about his activities on April 17, April 18, and April 19. Coach Mullins states in another article that DeShawn was hit in football scrimmage at Arkansas Tech on April 18th, the day after he is said to have been beaten by Kappas. Is Coach Mullins telling the truth? Did DeShawn scrimmage or not? How was he able to scrimmage on that day, if he was so badly beaten on the day before? Has Torro Benn reviewed the footage of the scrimmage? What did DeShawn do on April the 19th? What did he eat? What did he drink? What else did he do? Were there 16 Kappas present on April 17th or were there only the four who are charged? What Kappa actually ran the meeting on April 17th and why is DeShawn trying to protect him? What about all of the text messages back and forth that really reveal who was present and who was in charge? Were there not alumni present who were supposed to supervise the meeting?

It sound like Torro that you could have been there and just trying to see if DeShawn remember your face. since you want him to name all 16 people that was there on the 17th. Since you want to cover for the Kappa. You need to go and let them haze you
with canes, paddles and be in a coma for 8 days, then come back and post your comment.
Nobody saying that the young African American are bad men but good men make bad choices. Nobody saying that Deonte hit DeShawn but he organized for him to be beaten by different chapters from all over Arkansas. Why would Deonte organize this innocent for a person that is one deep on line? I heard Deshawn was the only man on line.
Why Deonte didn’t stop the hazing and he was the VP of that organization and that was his cousin, that he proclaim that he LOVED so much? As DeShawn stated, in another articles, that he had heard that this was part of the initiation process for the fraternity. he did not, however, know that the beating would be so severe. As I said before it got out of control and no one said enough is enough. GOOD MEN CAN STILL MAKE BAD CHOICES. Glad DeShawn is still here with us to help put a stop to hazing for the next young African American that wants to pledge. Maybe they will think twice before
they pick up a wooden cane or paddle
Tony Walker says that DeShawn Scoggins does not recall what happened at the Kappa meeting on April 17th? Why not? If DeShawn does not recall what happened, then who said anything happened at all? Didn't he sign a statement to the effect that his injury was related to football scrimmage on April 18th? Does DeShawn remember going to the Waffle House with members of Kappa Alpha Psi after the meeting on April 17th? Does he remember going to class, to football scrimmage ( and being hit so hard that he did not return after participating in at least seven plays), and to lab in the evening of April 18th, the following day? Why did the state police special agent obliterate any mention of the events and circumstances of April 18th and suggest that DeShawn was with members of Kappa Alpha Psi on April 21st? That was no mere error in transcription. If so, why hasn't the agent revised his report, as he has been asked to do? Indeed, how does one transcribe "17" and end up with "21"? It is one thing to oppose hazing. It is another to manufacture dates and ignore facts in order to contrive a battery charge against innocent young African American men and attempt to make felons out of very decent and honorable young men. One thing your story gets DeShawn Scoggins to acknowledge that is not acknowledged in the affidavit that led to the arrest of these young African American men: DeShawn went voluntarily to the meeting on April 17th. Indeed, he went eagerly and enthusiastically. Reading the affidavit, one would think that DeShawn had been kidnapped and abducted and taken somewhere against his will. Furthermore, why is DeShawn attending parties in Atlanta and New Orleans with Kappas, and displaying the same on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter if he was treated so badly at their meeting? When is DeShawn going to name all 16 Kappas who attended the April 17th meeting and the other Kappas who attended similar meetings with him?
