FT, the wife is featured throughout the movie. The Arkansas judicial system and the West Memphis police are, deservedly so in my humble opinion, slammed and portrayed as either incompetent, corrupt or both. I sincerely hope that if I were ever to be accused of a crime that I would be convicted by more evidence than my name being added to a probation officer's suspects list and the coerced testimony of a person with low intellect.

Echols, Misskelly and Baldwin were tried & convicted before they set foot in the courtroom. Truly a travesty. No wonder the state didn't want a new trial and the possible exposure to millions of dollars in liability.
