Criminal law is very cruel sometimes, that’s why people should know their rights. I like your legal articles because you make criminal issues very clear. People should know were to find a good attorney to protect their rights and freedom. I try to create such directory which facilitates the search of attorney. For example, check the category with Arkansas criminal attorneys http://attorney-online.info/dir/criminal/a… People can evaluate legal experience of every lawyer very fast. I invite all attorneys to submit their contacts to this directory. Especially ones like you, who write such interesting blog posts :)

Now we have the red scare raising its silly head, again. OOoh, they are all around you, silent and waiting. I can tell you haven't actually been to any Tea Party rallies. I have. Hardly hateful. The only time I ever did see conservative folks getting riled and violent were at the abortion clinics/Planned Parenthood clinics. I don't believe in abortion after the first trimester, as it IS taking a life, but I do believe in the choice. I used to protect a few clinics, keeping access open so the folks could get in and out without some goober waving a baby on a cross in their face. On the liberal side, I have experienced violent hate from anti-gun groups and union groups.

Zat, there are some intellectually stunted folks who couldn't WAIT to invoke ye old fuhrer. You can whine about BS all you want, but the H name was thrown out, it is hardly in context. The comparison is bullshit, and s is the pudding inside the head of the cretin making the comparison.

I call bullshit. Godwin's Law plainly states that “As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1." Neither the Nazi nor Hitler was referenced. It was you that first brought these into the discussion. Using sheep or sheeple involves a different rubric, the one about “the guilty dog barking first”.
Yeah, yeah, Godwin's Law raises it ugly little head with the grasping and desperation that you have to follow, slavishly, the most ultra-liberal blog to show racism. A black doctor, and that is racist how? What puny little mind makes hits shit up?

Fuqua, Hitler, another desperate grasp. Jeezus, are you all really THAT stupid? Is your desperation so complete that you become as bat shit idiotic as the other idiots you excoriate?

Guess so.

Let's see...Hitler had support from the govt, after Hitler's personal guards got rid of one violent problem, mainly the communists, who engaged in much mischief and murder. What army of brownshirts does Fuqua have? Oh, yeah, NONE, he is just a whack job crying from the wilderness to his little tent minions.

Ya'll are a bunch of sheep.

Great comment, Citizen. You have hit the nail squarely on the head. Our population is so scared, so confused, so willing in these times to find a bogey-man. That bogey-man, as is always the case, is made up of poor people, immigrants, blacks, muslims--people who don't have superpacs working for them, and therefore are always exploited and abused to further the ambitions and goals of the super-rich. In the 1930s, Jews were blamed for everything that was wrong with Germany, and it worked. Otherwise "good people" (which of course is debatable because some say that no 'good person' would ever allow people to be exterminated) acquiesed in Hitler's takeover of the country, and his systematic elimination of a good portion of the population.

How different was Hitler than Charlie Fuqua, whom I used to know personally and always thought was bat-shit crazy. You look for someone to blame for your own gain. In Fuqua's case, it is muslims and disobedient children. Believe it or not, someone told me the other day that Fuqua now makes his living as an attorney for the Arkansas Department of Human Services. I sure hope this is not correct, given his attitude toward children.

radical, you don't get to use the Republican poll (oops, I mean Rasmussen Biased Polling) re Obamacare as a 'fact'. Try this on for size (poll done shortly after the ACA was upheld by Supreme John Roberts- remember him?):

"53% of participants said they would like to see the law stay in place OR GET EXPANDED [emphasis added] while only 38% said that they would like to see if repealed and replaced."

http://tinyurl.com/8sbpc6r

You see, Republican Biased Polling (RBP) and others only give respondents two choices on the question of Obamacare- for or agin. Of course in the real world there are other choices- for, agin, agin because Obamacare didn't go far enough, etc. And guess where aginners "because Obamacare didn't go far enough" results get lumped. With the pure aginners. That's not a poll, that's propaganda!

Sorry, radical, you don't get your own set of 'facts'.

Republicans are pro-slavery. Republicans believe a woman can't become pregnant by "legitimate" rape. Republicans think President Obama is the anti-Christ.

All of them? Hardly, but they all get painted with the same brush when idiots like Aiken, Hubbard, English, Mauch, King, Benedict et al open their mouths and spew the hate, and the rest of the party stands by.

That's unfortunate. I know a few Republicans for whom I have had respect but I don't see them trying to dissuade the crazies in the party and because of that I'm losing respect by the day. When I hear them calling BS on some of the Republican insanity, that's the day I'll achieve new-found respect.
Until then none of them are any better than the very worst of them.

Radical Centrist: and here's the superb poll-watcher Nate Silver on Rasmussen and its well-known pro-GOP bias: http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2….

The headline of that NY Times article says it all: "Rasmussen Polls Were Biased and Inaccurate; Quinnipiac, SurveyUSA Performed Strongly."

If you wish, you can then go on and read the article and see by HOW MUCH and HOW CONSISTENTLY Rasmussen was wrong in 2010--always, and isn't this curious, in a pro-GOP direction.

Thank you.

Along with consistent flossing and warning against the flagrant violation of plaids with polka dots, my mission in life has always been the inadvisability of converting a dead pet, no matter how beloved, into a hairpiece.

Have it stuffed and mounted if you must, and displayed in the privacy of your home. But NEVER inflict your devotion to the deceased creature upon innocent bystanders. Particularly tabbies and blue heelers, which have been known to provoke shrieks and tears in the very young and trigger pacemaker malfunctions in the wired of any age.

P.S. It appears I may be visiting The Rock in the near future. We must get together for "tea," if you catch my drift, as we've long discussed.

Survey says: Majority still favor repeal. I could cite dozens of other polls with similar results.

Bless her heart. She doesn't even know better than to put a bumpit in her hair for her official photo, like some Randolph County Snooki. But before you all pile on, just think about the fact that there is NO DIFFERENCE in what this woman, Missy Irvin, Teresa Oelke, and the rest of the Arkansas GOP believes. Poor Lori just isn't as "sophisticated" as they are, and says these things out loud. Fuck all of them.

When Republicans rant on about how Americans hate "Obamacare" (never mind that one poll after another says the opposite), I always get a little confused. I was confused by Saline Republican's rant about "Obamacare" on threads here yesterday, and I'm confused by the AFP flyer's claims about the ACA healthcare plan created by the Obama administration.

Are these folks who're ranting about "Obamacare" talking about the ROMNEYCARE plan on which "Obamacare" is based? The one of which Mitt Romney admitted last month he's the "grandfather"?: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/….

And the one he's also stated he has no intention of dismantling?

Is that the "Obamacare" folks are talking about?
