WASHINGTON, Sept 24 (Reuters) - U.S. billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson has set a new record in political donations by giving $70 million to help Republicans in the 2012 elections, nearly triple the previous highest amount, according to news outlet Politico on Monday.

I voted for Romney for the sake of stopping ObamaCare. It didn't work, so like the headline said last week, it looks like ObamaCare is here to stay. There is no viable Plan C I've heard of, except wait and see. ObamaCare might simply collapse under its own weight, but it could bring down the whole economy with it.

It's too bad about Linda Tyler, but she doomed her campaign by supporting the wacky scheme to give the Arkansas electoral college votes to Obama.

With just 51 seats in the House, I'm not sure the Koch Bros. achieved the level of hegemony they were seeking. But most everyone is glad to see The Three Stooges gone.
