Speaking of Craighead County, kudos to the AT Blog for pointing out in September that Jon Hubbard, another of Webb’s boys and one of the blog’s Three (infamous) Stooges, had been unsuccessful in his lawsuit several years ago to regain a job in the Palestine-Wheatley school district.

This was the school district in which Hubbard allegedly abused sick leave, inflated mileage claims, failed to properly care for sports equipment, mismanaged funds for referees, and had left school early without arranging adequate supervision of students.

I fashioned all of that into an email and sent it to several friends in Jonesboro asking that they circulate it up there. Which several of them did. Previously, little if any of this part of Hubbard’s past had been known. Can’t prove it, but would like to think the revelation played at least a small part in bringing about Hubbard’s defeat.
