Once again, DBI proves, that, on occasion, he is capable of great wisdom. "The Human Condition is what's wrong with humans." All too true. But, also, I would posit that the same Human Condition is what makes humans bearable, and most of the times, likeable. Most of the people I have known who were truly without sin were also sadly without personality, and humanity, and someone you couldn't really understand. (By the way, I want to commend the post from, I believe Verla, which stated simply that she empathized with Julie. This is kindness devoid of any political snarkiness.) There is a Delbert McClinton song that has the line, "You learn a whole lot more about life from the things you aren't supposed to do." This is also great wisdom.

Now I know I've been foolish to worry that my posts might be too long for the AT typing box. I shall not restrain myself to short posts any longer!

It hard to say which family is more dysfunctional, Julie McGee's or Jeremy Hutchinson's? But I know you get the family you get and what you are today hinges on who you came from.

Julie reminds me to be thankful for not being young and passionate any more. Back then I got a few stream of consciousness letters and wrote a bunch myself. The act is painful but therapeutic and the release of pressure prevents a lot of dead people at the mall, so keep writing!

I feel sorry for Julie McGee. Can't say I feel sorry for Hutchinson though I well remember when my little head did all the thinking most of the time. If I was a jerk, I was a small jerk. The proof is that I am still in touch with those involved in the mistakes I made and after the passion, friendship stepped in and I'm so thankful for that.

I for one am glad the Family Values balloon has been punctured out of existence. By now we should have learned to cross our legs, not bend over and keep a tight hold of our wallets and purses the minute someone starts talking about Family Values. It's a sure sign of a crook, religious nut or sexual libertine the minute someone claims to be all about Family Values. It's like class....if you have to talk about it, you ain't got it. The Hutchinson family AIN'T GOT IT in spades.

Since I once ran a bar I have met many Julie McGees and it amazes me what men will say and do to get into a girl's pants. It's also amazing that any woman would get worked up over someone as unattractive as Jeremy Hutchinson, though I'm personally thankful they do or I would be 57 and never been laid. Finally I've learned that women fall in love with their heart, not their head. Truly the old line about men love to have sex and women have sex to love is very true. And Julie proves it once again.

I woke up yesterday to find out on the front page of the NY Times that another powerful person has been shown to, at least sometimes, value a roll in the hay over his exalted position. Who knew our most famous living general would blow himself out of the top CIA position at the age of 60 over a 40 years old "flat-belly!?!" Maybe I'll lose my mind tomorrow in Wal-Mart....it gives me hope!

We must get over the fact that people not married to each other often have sex. Somewhere in a bar in Arkansas tonight, yes, even on Sunday, someone will slip out with someone and do the big nasty and gee, they won't even be famous or someone elected to public office!

The Human Condition is what's wrong with humans. We all expect every meal to be a banquet and a simple diet of boiled chicken just won't do it. Miss Julie was a steak before she became boiled chicken, Susan & Misty....steak then boiled chicken. The former Mrs. H....the same. The eater is always happy, the eaten......not so much.

I hope all this ends well for Julie McGee and the other women in Hutchinson's life. Just remember, some day Jeremy will grow up and grow old as his father and uncle have done before our eyes. He'll just be another fat, bald, gray-headed lobbyist with his pants pulled up under his arm pits. He won't be chasing women, but his family history says he'll still be chasing the almighty dollar. And by the time he dies no one will remember a damn thing about anyone named Huchinson.

Good luck, Julie
Obviously the poll worker is too dumb to vote Democratic since she probably doesn't want anything to affect her Medicare while voting for the pair that I would trust to even keep their hands off the current receipent's benefits.

Wow! After reading the above from Seektruthnothate28, it sure looks like the AR Ethics Commission needs to do some serious investigating of Sen. Hutchinson and those allegedly "forged" campaign fund checks which were written to his former snugglebunny (and almost Baby Mama?) Julie McGee.

There's a WHOLE LOT OF SMOKE being produced, and somebody needs to see if they can locate the fire. I kinda suspect Jeremy's pants may actually be burning, and Bill Vickery lacks the ability to help put that fire out! (See Lou Hardin)

And, Sen. Hutchinson, do you know how to spell "criminal indictment?"

Can anyone dig up the Ark Times article about FIVE OR SIX Democratic state legislators who ventured over to Bryan King's district about 2006 to HELP re elect King when there was a Democrat running in the same race?

I think an interview with some of those dickheads is in order.

Noted that Carroll County, King's home seat, is 93.6% white so they've picked a safe one to introduce discriminatory legislation.

Apparently, none of these idiots has ever been in a polling place to vote. Perhaps one, last Tuesday, who asked for an "extra ballot" to take to his buddy in the hospital. Or the guy who was shocked not to to find his name in the book; it had only been 16 years since he had voted.
In our state, a voter is asked three questions, to verify information in the book: What is your name?; What is your address?; What is your date of birth? If the information given is not "correct", the official may ask for, but NOT DEMAND, some form of identification. In twelve years of working at the polls, I have seen NO problems relating to I.D.
