There's plenty left over if you consider that per capita income for NY is $43,500. After legal deductions they won't be in the $250K range and you know it. It's Bohner and McConnell who wants to reduce or take away home interest deductions so to raise federal revenues. BHO's suggested tax increases would hit a $250K couple with a slight increase and the top rates would be reserved for those earning over a million yr. We're talking about 20% of the entire taxpayer base. If you're in it, and I doubt it, then congrats. If you're not in the upper 20% and still have a bidness then I would advise you to cease blogging and get to work. Make those sales happen! You're earning absolutely ZERO on these pages unless the Kochs are paying exceptionally well these days.

However, clap your hands together because the likes of Mittens, with millions per yr income, while paying a much lower rate than you and your mythical NY couple will assure you keep paying your entire lifetime. Plus, there's 8,000 earners in this nation who make over a million per yr and pay ZERO federal income taxes.
