"102 Churches listed with Conway, Arkansas addresses. All are "Christian", no jewish or muslim. Nor any mormon or cults other than 1 Catholic one.'-Citizen 1

Well, Citizen, there is an Episcopal Church (St Peter's) and 2 Lutheran churches (Peace and Advent) that fall into the liturgical or traditional churches along with St Joseph's Rom,an Catholic Church and then there are all those that showed up a lot later. BTW, the liturgical churches aren't "cults" and if it werern't for the Roman Catholic church monasteries during the Dark Ages and Middle Ages, you migjht all be using the Koran.

And judging from the comments during the election, I have serious doubt about how many members actually fit the definition of "Christian" as you will be known by your actions, including your mouth, and some of these people fall into the Pharisee category.

"The central Arkansas area is estimated to receive $648 million in special project funding, and Northwest Arkansas could get $375 million."

We are used to it over here in west central Arkansas. Our people we send to the General Assembly are more interested in pushing the national Republican issues of abortion, gay rights, mandatory prayer in schools, etc., then they are in butting heads with the folks that wrap up the state funds to be used in their lone sections of the state.

The support for the highway tax is not that surprising. Even for the anti-taxers, a drive on 540 at rush hour is a highly persuasive argument for more highway funding, and many Sebastian County residents desperately want the new interstate through Fort Chaffee completed.

The medical marijuana result is more surprising in that it passed in Fort Baptist by big numbers within the city; at the precinct level, it looks like it also ran up big numbers "for" in Fayetteville, majority against in Springdale (but close), big "against" vote in Siloam Springs and western Benton County in general and mixed in the rest of county.

And amen to what Citizen 1 said. If we ever have a theocracy, 101 churches in Conway are going to be toeing a different line.

I love presumptions that everyone that agrees with you on one item agrees with you on all others, or the opposite, those that disagree on one do on all.

My evidence that that probably ain't so.

102 Churches listed with Conway, Arkansas addresses. All are "Christian", no jewish or muslim. Nor any mormon or cults other than 1 Catholic one.

39 have Baptist in their name.

So my evidence is that even all Christians in Conway, Arkansas disagree so dang much that they can't get along enough to sit next to each other for an hour on sunday and an hour on wednesday.

There are 39 Baptist churches.

Conway ain't that big that 6 or 7 conveniently located Baptist churches oought to be handy enough for all local Baptists to attend.

So the fact that there are 39 instead of 7 indicates that even Conway Baptist critters disagree so much that they need separate churches.

So I doubt Elmer Gantry's voters are all of a single mind.
