My thesis is well grounded in history: Some of the Jews who were sent to concentration camps in the 1930s were supporters of the early 1920s European Fascist political parties, when the scapegoat was the capitalist, before the Nazis began to target them.

The historical pattern is the social democrat's creeping secularism and the Keynesian economic model pushes the people and the economy into a severe state of decline. In the depth of a depression, frightened citizens begin to believe their nation and economy would be stronger if they had a dictator, thinking that liberty can be restored later.

A dysfunctional political party or group such as Occupy Wall Street led by a charismatic leader begins a scapegoating crusade against wealthy investors or industrialists, then expands the defamatory tirade to include other groups. But ultimately, as their movement grows, they shift to a smaller completely defenseless minority such as the Jews.

The US will almost certainly enter into a second great depression in the next decade because of the failure of Obama's Keynesian economic policies. In the midst of hyper-unemployment, homelessness, hunger and chaos in our cities, liberal politicians and publications will be very likely to follow the scapegoating pattern I've described. Already, at the last Democrat National Convention there were numerous anti-Jewish delegates in attendance.

Jon Stewart will most likely be one of those people leading the persecution, all in the name of brotherly love! That's the Nazi way.

"The path of the social democrat is always economic and social decay leading ultimately to a loss of freedom." (Potsdam 1933)

The scapegoat - From ancient times an animal, individual or group was chosen to bear the blame for the guilt, pain, fears, sorrows, confusion or incompetence of others. The chosen scapegoat was despised, vilified, falsely accused, demeaned, degraded, invalidated, hated, punished, betrayed, shunned, expelled and in some cases even murdered. The perpetrators made it clear that as far as they are concerned the scapegoat has absolutely no redeeming qualities and is deserving of no kindness, courtesy, mercy or civility. The scapegoat deserves to be tortured, destroyed, annihilated. In most cases though, the scapegoat is more than likely blameless but one commonality is the dysfunction of the individual or group perpetrating the acts of scapegoating.

In the Great Depression of the 1930s the Democratic Party began to vilify, demean, degrade and promote hatred against the wealthy for the lengthy economic contraction when in fact it was the weakness of FDR's Keynesian economic policies that was prolonging the down turn. A situation much like that exists with the Obama administration. In the 1960s the scapegoat was expanded to include white men as long as the Democratic Party's white leadership was exempted. Since then the scapegoating has escalated and and become rampant in the entertainment companies, network news divisions, Associated Press and other liberal print media, academia, and other institutions etc.

The Arkansas Times takes its lead from those institutions and is the primer advocate and promoter of racial hatred against white men as well as the wealthy in central Arkansas; the subject of this cartoon being mostly devoted to demeaning, degrading and vilifying the white male. In fact there's so much anti-white bigotry in this paper it seems like they're trying to pick a fight with white guys!

Ultimately though, the pattern of scapegoating is always the same: No matter who their initial targets are, their ultimate targets always turn out to be the Jews, even if they're not presently aware of where they're going. In this era, it's the wealthy, and the white male but ultimately that path leads to rampant antisemitism and quite possibly a second Holocaust!
