And in response to your 11:56PM post, as I recall republicans cut the budget for embassy protection. Also, the military no longer provides embassy protection in most places. I believe much of the work is contracted out to private contractor/paramilitary "industries" like Xe.

John McCain (R) and Lindsey Graham(R) were given beacoup tv time this past week to bash the administration and generally go on a loud WITCH HUNT about the Benghazi embassy attach. In particular McCain and Graham strung up UN ambassador Susan Rice due to her comments about the attack. They went so far as to preempt Rice from any consideration for Sec of State. All bullshit all the time supported by the robotic heads at Fux News.

Now they don't talk so loud, now they don't seem so proud after having their dumb asses handed to them by the testimony of General Petraeus:
