      <![CDATA[Jeff brings a high profile and a wide network of statewide connections to his position. And these are two things in short supply at ASU. Mike Beebe can only do so much and he's going to retire (at least from the governorship) in 2014. Shane Broadway is backing away as well.<br>
<br>
Not only is Jeff a good choice, the timing of this appointment is excellent. The Red Wolves are hot and the Razorbacks are cold, Jeff will have the opportunity to bring ASU the attention and recognition it deserves.

      <![CDATA[Sounds like a minimum wage or slightly higher job to me- with no benefits.  Bet plenty of other folks would do that job for a fraction of that $170,000 lottery-sized salary.
