Why does the city even have that stupid over-balanced Board when they might just as well all resign and let the Chamber run the city since they apparently get everything they want. They got a $22 million useless "tech park" white elephant building as tribute to the Chamber for businesses who would never dream of settling in such an environment and now more money down the rabbit hole.

I would think that if the city had a spare $100K sitting around, they would spend it on policing around the River Market and Convention Center before they find that the word is out that the new slogan is "visit the Rock, go home in a box". And Chamber, loss of Convention business means the members won't be able to pay those dues for your golf meets and travel and you may have to actually find a job.

"The city is adding $100,000 for the Metro Little Rock Alliance..."

If today had not been so beautiful, this would be cause for despair because of the apparent lack of accountability and transparency.
