<![CDATA[I agree, this has been a very tough year for the Razorbacks. With all the adversity that surrounded them, the expectations were high and they tried their best. As for AD Long, I still can't agree with his hiring practices. In the cases of Petrino and Smith, he backdoored the employers of the two guys without so much as a by your leave. You gain respect by giving it and as far as the two organizations he backdoored is concerned, there is no respect. Not to say that he won't try to find the best candidate but hopefully it'll be one that is currently unemployed or at the end of a contract. With regards to college coach payola, they get paid to win, case closed, end of story. No wins, no job. Yes they the will to cpmtete is very strong but so are the egos. When Saban won his first BCS Championship his contract stated that if he won he'd get paid $1 more than the highest paid coach at the time. Stoops of Oklahoma, sure he wins but not so much lately and rumors were his seat was getting warm. Miles at LSU, well the Mad Hatter isn't too worried and Saban, forget about it! Richt at Georgia felt some heat as well but as stated it, college football has become big business and no matter how much of a competetor a coach may be, winning isn't the only thing, it's everything!
