Let's try a little honesty. Change the name of the Sec of State position to something like Sec of Wanton Mayhem and Neoliberal Hubris.

The nation as a whole, especially Democrats, should be appalled with themselves for hoisting Obama Clinton warmongers upon the world scene. "Humanitarian bombers" and our endless weapons dealing will always attract an Al Qaeda flag. Yet another feature, not a mysterious bug of our policy.

So many, from Cheney to Kissinger laughs. And so do the Israeli's... who have the full support of US with their endless oppression/maintenance of their Warsaw like Ghetto - concentration camp called Gaza. Never your pretty little minds about Rowanda and Congo... where we aid and abet more killing than anywhere, anytime, since WWII. Or Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, and nearly countless others.

In this day and age the Sec of State position is nothing but an agent of madness perpetuated no matter who holds it... We should absolutely stop it. Reboot.

eLwood - We do need more answers about Benghazi, but our nation absolutely needs a Secretary of State right now. If President Obama nominates Amb. Rice, they should just do the normal hearings and get on with the vote. I don't see any reason to block her appointment due to the errors in the initial reports.

I'd rather find out why we were hoisting the U.S. flag in a "diplomatic facility" where the primary purpose was CIA operations, in a town where the local courthouse flies the al-Qaeda flag. It doesn't make any damn sense.

By the way, have you noticed that Hillary has virtually disappeared since she returned from Egypt? At about the time she was wheels-down in D.C., Mosri was announcing his dictatorial decrees. The State Department claims she was surprised by the announcement, but it was fairly predictable for the Muslim Brotherhood.

Then the fire happened in Bangladesh, and there are massive protests against Walmart there. Hillary was on the Walmart Board of Directors for several years, but the protestors haven't figured out that connection yet. The Bangladesh fire could be another reason why Hillary is maintaining a low profile this week.

I have no idea of what the payoff is but they've got to pin something on Obama before the critical cuts vs. taxes showdown begins.
It is the only profession that I know where people are paid on the basis of unrealized hopes.

I love fuball coach speculation, anyone's guess is a good as the next. Back when Petrino was selected how many on here predicted it a week or two before it was announced?

And another thing, there is no "Frank Bayles." I thought we settled that long ago. There's only Frank of the Ozarks.
