At least they continue to show that their definition of "christian" doesn't come anywhere near what a real one is. You shall show whether your are a Christian, not by your words, but by your works and from what I see, we are the land of the Pharisees! Of course, most of time the spend so much time on selected parts of the Torah that they are giving Judism a bad name. Of course, most of my Jewish friends are highly intelligent and so we know these representatives aren't Jewish.

"I’m not doubting that they didn’t take a set of assumptions and run calculations and they’ve got numbers they can defend. What I’m arguing is their set of assumptions."

I share his concern about that. A simple spreadsheet with some untested assumptions may not produce an accurate model. What is the statistical margin of error for the latest spreadsheet? It doesn't say.

Can Andy Allison provide some spreadsheet projections from previous years that can be compared with actual results? If he can demonstrate a good track record at reducing complex, long-range projections to a simple spreadsheet, that would help make his case. But if it is a poor track record - or no such track record exists - that should be considered too.

I'm no economist, but it seems to me that a rigorous multivariate analysis would provide a broader range of outcomes to consider. For example, what are the best-and-worst-case scenarios? Where are the edges on this thing? The spreadsheet did not tell us.
