That's what I was thinking. Don't let them have health care now because in the future maybe it will be taken away.
Makes no sense.

I think Durango is probably right; pragmatism will trump ideology most of the time. I think also that we ought to give Lamoureux, and his counterpart, Davy Carter, a break and stop prejudging them a month before the legislature convenes. I'm not going to call any names until i see what they do.

“Incoming Arkansas Senate President Michael Lamoureux calls Medicaid expansion “the number one issue…”

The Republican rhetoric is no more and no less than political theater. Lamoureux, Bledsoe, and all the rest will fall in line and approve the expansion once the hospital lobby starts ripping them a new one.

Anybody think Lamoureux (for just one example) is fool enough to be complicit in major service reductions at his hometown hospital in Russellville? And fool enough to help bring about the demise of nearby rural hospitals in Dardanelle and Danville?

And that’s to say nothing of 15,000 elderly and frail Arkies being booted out of nursing homes if there’s no Medicaid expansion.

couldn't be better, re pick the arkansas idiots - cause the media has a known source where they can always find some idiots. Until the folks in Arkansas decide to send their kids to school and insist they obtain an education and kick out the repugs posing as democrats and ignorant repugs, we'll always be #49. Oh you can also add creation science is not science. Eliminate religion in every way. Religion is evil and the cause of 90% of the world's troubles. The only goal for religion is to rule everyone everywhere no matter the cost.

Why do thhnational news sources always pick the Arakansas idiots that make the state look so bad? Did Bledsoe indicate that she is not a disinterested legislator and that her husband is a doctor, I believe. Probably forgot to mention it. Hopefully, she didn't mention she was a "christian" because I hate for other churches around the country to waste their time praying for these low-information Arkansans.
