I was listening to 103.7 FM the buzz at 11:30 and a source close to the Athletic Director told David Bazzel that Mike Gundy of Oklahoma St will be named the Razorback coach. http://thedailyhatch.org/2012/12/04/mike-g…

Gus is not tried and true for top tier coaching, however I would rather take a chance on him over most of the names I have heard as being more likely to accept.

Mr. Malzhan has roots in the area and ties with the Razorback program which could make a difference compared to 2nd or 3rd tier prospects.

Not to mention how he and his family were treated by the Nutt's.

Bob Costas needs to think gun control through before he talks about it. Dan Mitchell noted:
If you are a thief and come upon a house with a yard sign that shows these words, "Nothing in the house worth dying for and I have a gun."

Here’s a quiz. What do you do after seeing this sign?

a. break into the house because you once heard a politician or journalist assert that gun ownership doesn’t deter crime?

b. decide after a bit of reflection about potential costs and benefits that it might be more prudent to find another house to rob?

Who is going to be the next coach for the Razorbacks? This morning I heard Tommy Smith on 103.7 the buzz while he was down at the Broyles Award say that Chris Petersen and Kirby Smart may no longer be in talks with the Razorbacks and we may need to look at Gus Malzahn at Arkansas State.

I personally think Gus would be a great choice. Other SEC teams have some good choices out there too. I personally am jealous of Auburn since they are looking at Petrino.
Yeah, just because Daily Kos is telling us the truth that Mark Pryor can't win in 2014 because he's Blanche Lincoln Jr. we should ignore Kos and start practicing saying Senator Tim Griffin Senator Tim Griffin Senator Tim Griffin.

Like Blanche, Pryor is damaged goods , easily beaten by a Republican opponent because like Blanche, Pryor has stood for nothing. And as Alexander Hamilton once said, those who stand for nothing fall for anything.

Pryor early on fell for the crap the giant credit card companies were handing out (and no doubt their cash too) and voted to do good things for them so they can destroy your family the minute someone gets cancer or strokes out.

Pryor next fell for the horse shit that comes from Joe LIEberman who helped Mark learn how to enable George W. Bush and only be useful to the Democratic Party like the toilet plunger you use once or twice a year.

How many times did Mark Pryor and fellow traveler Ben Nelson FK over the Democrats and side with the Republicans. Hows that for standing for nothing? Kos knows Pryor is a pudgy little puffball and will be beat like a drum if he's the nominee for the Senate in 2014. A real Republican running against him might shine a light on all the mysterious goings on in his murky personal life and once again Arkansas will be the buttboy of the nation.

Mark Pryor needs to throw in the towel or be primaried out of the race for his sake and ours because he cannot beat a Republican next time out and we will be forced to say Senator Tim Griffin Senator Tim Griffin Senator Tim Griffin.

Our only chance is to find and run a REAL DEMOCRAT in 2014, Kos knows the sad truth and we better listen or........see above.

Because she was upset (and, yeah, a bit worried, too), WIES called Sister on her mobile to ask her where she was.

In a calm voice, Mrs. Sister said, "Honey, you remember the jewelry store we went into about five years ago where you fell in love with that diamond necklace that we could not afford and I told you that I would get it for you one day?"

Of course, WIES choked up and as tears began to flood her eyes, she whispered, "Yes, my darling, I remember that jewelry store."

"Well,” said Sister, “I'm in the bar right next to it."

Daily kos will be raising funds for Pryor in no time. Telling Dems they have to vote against their own interests in order to save us from those other... whatevers. Why the proof is in the first line of that post... telling Dems to try to get Collins in their camp. Reminds me of Obama/Biden recruiting Arlen Specter!

Abolish the US Senate... it's part of the aristocratic problem.

I agree with Arkansas Times. What the hell does Daily Kos know about Arkansas, anyway? I'm sure the esteemed editors of that publication don't know his dad, and how much that means.
