<![CDATA[With "TP"er DeMint going to the Heritage Foundation, I guess his first official position will be to erase all evidence that Heritage was one of the major early backers of Romneycare based on the data developed by REPUBLICANS (not today's bunch of klowns but real Republicans) as far back as Nixon and advanced by a number of them as a COST-SAVER for bringing medical costs under control. All of a suddden, they, like Pontius Pilate, have washed their hands of what they originated and the only rationale that can be assumed is that (1) a Democrat got it passed while they were unable for 50 years or (2) the Democrat that got it passed was black.

<![CDATA[The persons that fall under the currently super low Arkansas special definition of poverty and the new federal definition will be the ones who will still drop in at their local hospital ER for their serious medical issue that could have been resolved early in a visit to the doctor. So we definately haven't resolved the uininsured patient issue in the local hospital arena. Survival of smaller community hospitals is still at risk.

<![CDATA[Just like the response when the Republicans wants insurance companies to be able to sell across state lines, having the feds run the system sort of takes the AR Insurance Department out of any problem resolution. It will probably run more efficiently than any state operaation since in this state every Tom,, Dick, and Harry (and Republican) won't be trying to get their relatives a job in the department overseeing the action.
