Perhaps there are already such laws on the books I am not aware of? I'm not in favor of taking guns from law abiding citizens, but those who use guns to victimize others. Yes, I know this sounds simplistic, and it won't cure all gun related ills. In fact I think we need a multi pronged attack on violence in our society, I'm just not sure what the other "attacks" should be.

Is this a bad idea?

Citizens’ review of LRPD with zero tolerance of bad actions and zero tolerance by LRPD on all crimes is what is needed to break this cycle.

What is the over/under now on Little Rock’s murder rate for 2012? How many more will die or be robbed before there is any action? Where is the leadership by the City Manager, Mayor and Board of Directors?

Why is Jay and the CofC not up in arms over this (it scares the s%&t out of companies thinking of moving to LR)? Cabot, Benton, Bryant and all of the other bedroom communities love it, it builds their growth!

Little Rock will always remain a second tier city until this is addressed!
